2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS: Powertrain and Suspension Details
The GTS is still powered by the 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine; however, it has been tweaked to produce 40bhp and 40Nm more than before. The current peak power and torque figures stand at 493bhp and 660Nm, respectively. Additionally, the 8-speed automatic transmission has been updated to offer faster shifts, especially in the Sport and Sport Plus drive modes. With Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus now standard on the GTS, the suspension system has also received an upgrade for the 2024 model, with adaptive air suspension. To enhance handling and agility, the SUV also gets a new axle pivot bearing for the front suspension, borrowed from the Cayenne Turbo GT.
Porsche claims that to 'stabilise continuous load capacity' in situations like track racing, the GTS also receives an updated transfer box for the all-wheel drive system, which includes a 'water cooling circuit', borrowed from the Turbo GT.
2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS: Exterior Changes
In addition to the mechanical upgrades, the Cayenne GTS features redesigned front and back ends. All GTS models come with the Sport Design package, which replaces the body-colour window trim, rocker panels, and fender lips with gloss-black ones. The centre-exit exhaust system of the GTS Coupe, however, is still available with bronze-coloured tips, while the exhaust tips, which were originally black, have been changed to dark bronze. According to Porsche, the former is one of three lightweight packages that can reduce weight by up to 25 kg. Furthermore, the car rolls on new 21-inch RS Spyder alloy wheels.
2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS: Interior
Much like previous Cayennes, the GTS has a fully digital dashboard inside. Along with a 12.3-inch centre touchscreen to operate the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) infotainment system, there is also a 12.6-inch curved gauge cluster display. The Bose surround-sound sound, a panoramic glass roof, and ambient interior lighting are standard, while the new 10.9-inch front passenger screen is an optional extra.
2025 Porsche Cayenne GTS: Expected Price
The new Cayenne GTS and Cayenne Coupe GTS will likely retail for about Rs 2.5 crore. It is expected to go on sale in India in the middle of 2024.
