Hyundai Tucson: Key Details
Buyers have the choice to purchase the Tucson with either a gasoline or diesel engine. The 2.0-litre petrol engine produces 154bhp and 192Nm, whereas the 2.0-litre diesel mill delivers 184bhp and 416Nm. An automated torque-converter transmission is used by both units. While the petrol motor has a 6-speed transmission, the diesel engine has an 8-speed one. It's worth noting that the top-end diesel engines can also be equipped with all-wheel drive (AWD).
The Tucson boasts multiple features like wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10.25-inch driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, an eight-speaker Bose sound system, an air purifier, 360-degree cameras, electric driver seat adjustment with memory function, reclining rear seats, smart car features, voice-activated rain-sensing wipers, powered tailgate, and more.
It is worth noting that the Tucson was the first Hyundai car to feature Level 2 ADAS. The package includes several safety technologies such as rear cross-traffic alert, lane-keep assistance, blind-spot assistance, and forward collision warning. Besides this, the car is equipped with all-wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, six airbags, hill-descent control, and electronic stability control (ESC) for enhanced safety.
New Generation Hyundai Tucson Makes Global Debut
Hyundai introduced the next-generation Tucson to the global market in November of last year. Although the firm has not revealed any data regarding the car's engine, several design elements have been revealed. The front of the vehicle has been subtly changed to offer a more streamlined appearance, including the lighting layout, and a Parametric Jewel grille. The grille has been expanded and simplified, with revised horizontal components. In addition, the front bumper now has a skid plate. Its headlights have been somewhat tweaked, and the angular cuts are sharper.

The overall appearance of the side profile has remained largely unchanged, including the cladding, window line, roof design, and sharp cuts. The alloy wheel design, however, has undergone a complete redesign. The rear skid plate is now part of the bumper and is a little bit larger than it was before. The updated SUV features a dual-screen setup, a new three-spoke steering wheel, redesigned air conditioning vents, and a touch-operated climate control panel.
