Bajaj Auto Records 5% Year-on-Year Total 2W Sales Growth in November
While domestic 2W sales declined by 7% to 2.04 lakh units, exports increased by a staggering 26% to 1.6 lakh units.
Bajaj Auto sold 3.68 lakh 2Ws in November 2024, marking a rise of 5% from the previous year's 3.49 lakh units. While domestic sales declined by 7% to 2.04 lakh units, exports increased by a staggering 26% year-on-year, hitting 1.64 lakh units. The commercial segment also saw higher exports, compared to domestic sales. Bajaj Auto supplied 37,243 units locally, reflecting a 5% decline. It shipped 16,321 units overseas, marking a rise of 10% year-on-year. The total sales saw a marginal decline of 1% to 53,564 units.
In terms of total sales (2W and CV), Bajaj sold 2.41 lakh units in the domestic market, exhibiting a 7% decrease from the previous year. It dispatched 1.81 lakh units abroad, up 24% from 1.45 lakh units exported in November 2023. Overall, Bajaj supplied 4.23 lakh 2Ws and CVs last month, a rise of 5% year-on-year.
Bajaj Auto November 2024 Sales: YTD (Year-to-Date) Performance
From April to November 2024, Bajaj experienced growth across multiple segments. To begin with 2Ws, 16.79 lakh units were sold in the domestic market, representing a 9% rise. The exports rose by 11%, with a total of 10.88 lakh units dispatched. Overall, Bajaj sold 27.67 lakh units, showing a 9% increase.

The Chakan-based automaker's domestic sales increased by 4% to 3.33 lakh units in the commercial sector. The exports reached 1.25 lakh units, exhibiting a remarkable growth of 18%. All in all, the company sold 4.58 lakh commercial vehicles, which represents a growth of 7% year-on-year.
When the combined sales of two-wheelers and commercial vehicles are taken into account, a total of 20.12 lakh units were sold domestically, marking an 8% increase. The exports grew by 11% to 12.12 lakh units. In total, Bajaj sold 32.25 lakh units, registering a growth of 9% year-on-year.
Recent Highlights
Bajaj is gearing up to launch an upgraded version of the Chetak on December 20, 2025. The official specifications are yet to be revealed, but the redesigned model is intended to enhance the scooter's practicality for daily commuters. One of the primary upgrades may include improving storage capacity, a feature where competitors like the Ather Rizta, Ola S1, and TVS iQube currently have the upper hand.

The new version is expected to command a considerable premium over the current model, which costs between Rs 95,998 and Rs 1.29 lakh (both, ex-showroom).
