The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch, producing 34bhp of maximum power at 9,500rpm and 28Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm.

The BMW G 310 GS features a tubular steel frame with a bolted rear section, paired with a 41mm upside-down front fork and a rear mono-shock suspension. For braking, it is equipped with a 300mm disc brake at the front and a 240mm disc brake at the rear. The motorcycle is fitted with 19-inch front and 17-inch rear five-spoke alloy wheels, both wrapped in tubeless tyres.
In terms of dimensions, the bike measures 2,075mm in length, 880mm in width, and 1,230mm in height. The fuel capacity and seat height stand at 11.5 litres and 835mm, respectively.
