JLR India Registers 36% YoY Sales Growth in First Half of FY2025, Sells 3,214 Units
JLR India has disclosed its sales figures for the first half of FY2025. The carmaker reported a year-on-year increase of 36%, with 3,214 units sold in the country.
Jaguar Land Rover India sold 3,214 cars in the first six months of the current fiscal year, representing an increase of 36% year-on-year. The best-ever half-yearly performance was driven by 41% growth in the second quarter of FY25 and a 31% increase in the first quarter. The Defender and the Range Rover were in high demand during this time, thanks to local production of the complete Range Rover portfolio. In addition, compared to the last year, JLR India's order book increased by 15% in H1 FY25. According to JLR India, the local production of the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport has led to a 60% rise in bookings. In H1 FY25, the sales of the Defender SUV rose by 75% year-on-year.

Range Rover Ranthambore Edition: Exterior and Interior
The special edition has a unique deep black body tone with a crimson shimmering sheen, giving honour to the tiger's powerful hues. The design is further enhanced with accents of anthracite and Corinthian bronze that resemble the stripes of a tiger. The car has eye-catching 23-inch dark grey forged wheels with Corinthian Bronze accents.
Inside, the Ranthambore Edition is adorned with light Perlino semi-aniline leather and caraway leather with contrast stitching. The innovative embroidery on the seats is inspired by the vibrant theme of the stripes on the tiger's spine. Other notable bits include elegant chrome highlights, custom-made scatter cushions, and white ceramic dials.
Range Rover Ranthambore Edition: Feature and Powertrain
The car's features include a 13.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, digital LED headlights with DRLs, 11.4-inch rear touchscreens, a 13.7-inch digital instrument cluster, a 35-speaker, 1,600W Meridian Signature Sound System with active noise cancellation, cabin air purification, and a 3D surround camera system.

Under its hood, the SUV gets a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that churns out 394bhp of maximum power and 550Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to an eight-speed automatic torque converter gearbox.
