Ola Electric Crosses 2 Lakh Units Sales Milestone in First Ten Months of 2023, 24,000 EVs Sold in October
The pre-reservation window for the Ola S1 X (3kWh) and S1 X (2kWh) is now open at Rs 999 only. Offered in 3 variants, the S1 X starts at Rs 90,000 (ex-showroom).
The retail sales of Ola electric vehicles in India have gone past the 2,00,000-unit mark (as per Vahan data) in the first 10 months of the calendar year 2023. As a result, the country's leading electric two-wheeler manufacturer has registered over 100 per cent growth this year in comparison to the last year when it posted 1,00,000 sales in just 10 months of starting its operations. With this achievement, Ola has gone on to become the first-ever EV company in India to achieve this feat. Of 2,00,000 units, 24,000 electric vehicles were sold in October 2023, with the company leading the EV segment with a market share of almost 35 per cent. Not surprisingly, sales grew by 2.5 times during the festive period of Navratri and Dussehra, as opposed to the corresponding period last year. Ola expects this sales momentum to continue throughout the festive season with an uptick in volumes during the upcoming months.
