Formula E: Nico Muller Joins Andretti for Season 11, Replaces Norman Nato
Nico Müller replaces Norman Nato, who raced with Andretti for just one season. During that time, Nato secured a single podium but finished five points behind Müller in the drivers' standings.
Andretti has signed Nico Mueller for the 2024/25 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, where he will race alongside Season 9 World Champion Jake Dennis. Mueller replaces Norman Nato and will drive the Andretti Porsche 99X Electric as the series enters its GEN3 Evo era. Mueller's move comes on the back of a strong Season 10 performance, where he secured four consecutive top-six finishes, marking his best-ever finish in the Drivers' World Championship standings. Despite the challenges, Mueller consistently outperformed his machine, scoring an impressive 52 points—compared to just 4 points earned by his former ABT CUPRA teammate and Formula E champion, Lucas di Grassi.
On joining the Andretti Formula E team, Nico Mueller said: 'I’m very excited to join the Andretti Formula E Team. It’s a team that has seen success from the very beginning of the championship, particularly in the GEN3 era in their partnership with Porsche Motorsport. To work with Jake, a former World Champion is an honour and I’m looking forward to the opportunity. I’m going to give it my very best to contribute to the team’s success and hopefully aim for some podiums and my first Formula E win – that's the target. I can't wait to get going.'

"His experience and success in Formula E, and numerous other highly respected racing series, will be key as we continue to increase the depth of our driver roster. We’re looking forward to seeing what Nico can do as we continue our pursuit of wins and World Championships.
