Bajaj Pulsar SS400

Bajaj motorcycles took the wraps off the Pulsar SS400 at the 2014 Auto Expo in Delhi. The SS400 is a fully-faired motorcycle with a design identical to the RS200. That being said, the overall design looks impeccable and aggressive in its stride. However, the fairing appeals to be busy and it could have done with lesser curves and lines.

At the heart of the Pulsar, the SS400 will be powered by the Duke 390’s 373cc liquid-cooled unit that will be tuned to propel slightly less power and torque. Bajaj is gearing up to introduce the SS400 by the middle of next year, and it is expected to be priced in the vicinity of Rs2 lakh. Upon its launch, the flagship Pulsar will compete against the TVS Apache RR310 and KTM RC200.
