The Honda CB1000R+ is the successor to the original CB1000R. The CB1000R+ adopts a new design language, called the “Neo Sports Café”, similar to the smaller CB300R. The plus update is all about the looks of this motorcycle; it has a minimalistic look with a retro style, the round LED headlamps, the Aluminium meter visor, the Aluminium designed front fender and the Honeycomb mesh radiator enhances the appeal of this superbike.

Exterior Details

Honda CB1000R+ is a gorgeous motorcycle, which sports a mature neo sports café look. As for the dimensions, the bike is 2,120mm in length, 789mm in width and 1,090mm in height. The kerb weight is a hefty 213kg and the ground clearance is 135mm. The fuel tank can hold up to 16.2-litres of petrol.

Engine & Transmission

The Honda CB1000R+ comes powered by a 999cc four-cylinder motor, which churns out 141.4bhp and 104Nm of torque. The liquid-cooled motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Moreover, the Honda CB1000R+ mileage is expected to be around 16km/l.

Handling

The CB1000R+ is built around a steel mono backbone frame, while its stopping power is the courtesy of twin 310mm discs at the front and a 256mm disc at the back. The suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front and a unit pro-link with gas-charged at the rear. It gets a 120/70 ZR17 M/C section tyre a wider 190/55 ZR17 M/C section tyre at the front and the rear, respectively.

Features

The Honda CB1000R+ new model comes loaded with dozens of electronics as part of the standard kit. You get a two-way quickshifter, aluminium fly screen and cowl for the pillion seat, and heated grips in terms of features. On the safety front, dual-channel ABS is standard on the CB1000R+. The eclipse shaped digital instrument cluster hosts tons of rider related information. All the electricals including the headlamp, tail lamp and the indicators are fitted with LEDs.
