The Gold Wing is the most expensive motorbike in Honda’s India range. The Gold wing is a two-wheel tourer bike, which was updated in 2019 with a host of features to the bike while keeping the same price. Honda Gold Wing, for when it arrived, was the first motorcycle to support Apple Carplay on its TFT coloured display. Lastly, the Gold Wing is packed with a ton of features and entertainment, which we’ll discuss further below.

Exterior Details

Honda Gold Wing is not just feature-loaded, but it’s also a gorgeous looking tourer. Coming to the dimensions, the Gold Wing is 2,575mm long, 905mm wide and 1,430mm in height. The Gold Wing has a ground clearance of 130mm and a fuel tank capacity of 21.1-litres. The kerb weight of the tourer is a hefty 379kg.

Engine & Transmission

The Honda Gold Wing comes powered by a 1,833cc six-cylinder engine, which churns out 122.5bhp and 170Nm of torque. The power is sent to the rear wheel via a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. The Honda Gold Wing mileage, lastly, is rated at 14km/l.

Handling

The Gold Wing gets its stopping power from a 320mm disc and a 316mm disc at the front as well as the rear, respectively. The front end gets a 130/70 R18 section tyre and the rear end gets a much wider 200/55 R16 section tyre. The bike is built around an aluminium die-cast twin-tube frame chassis while it rides on double-wishbone suspension at the front and Prolink suspension at the rear.

Features

The Honda Gold Wing new model gets electronically control combined ABS, traction control, riding modes, hill hold assist, keyless ignition, electrically adjustable windscreen and remote locking panniers as part of the electronics. You also get LEDs all around the Gold Wing. The instrument cluster backs up all the electronics and comes with a first-for-a-bike Apple Carplay feature for the ease of riding.
