Kawasaki Z400 Engine and Transmission
The Z400 shall be powered by a 399cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that has a four-valve per-cylinder configuration. It shall put out a peak power of 47.5bhp at 10000 rpm and 37Nm of peak torque at 8000 rpm. The power transmission task should be handled by a six-speed return shift gearbox operating through a sealed chain drive system.

The motorcycle is said to follow the ‘Sugomi’ design language that will make the Z400 aesthetically identical to its elder siblings. Looking at the available pictures, it is evident that the bike features an aggressive headlamp and a sculpted-like transparent visor. The edgy turn indicators have been placed on the visor and uniquely designed rear-view mirrors on the handlebar.
The side profile of this Kawasaki motorcycle exhibits a sculpted fuel tank with an edgy badge plate with model branding. The seat is split and stepped while the exhaust pipe is upswept. There is also a radiator shroud that keeps the engine protected from dust and dirt and supplies fresh air. The images also showcase aluminium foot pegs for riders and pillion.
In the rear, the Z400 has a wide tail lamp, traditional-looking indicators, and a registration plate illuminator.
