<p>Aston Martin&nbsp;Lagonda Limited is a British manufacturer of luxury sports cars and grand tourers. It was founded in 1913 by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford. Steered from 1947 by David Brown, it became associated with expensive grand touring cars in the 1960s and with the fictional character ‘James Bond’ following his use of a DB5 model in the 1964 film ‘Goldfinger.</p>

<p>The Aston Martin car models with ‘DB’ in their moniker, like the DB9 and the DB11, stand for the initials of David Brown and to this day, they represent the pioneering work done under Brown’s supervision. Their sports cars are regarded as a British cultural icon. Aston Martin has over 150 car dealerships across 50 countries in 6 continents, making them a global automobile brand.</p>

<p>Their headquarters and the main production site is in Gaydon, Warwickshire, England. In August 2017, according to Sotheby’s, a 1956 DBR1/1 Aston Martin car priced USD 22.55 million went on to became the most expensive British car ever sold at an auction. The car was driven before by racing legends like Carroll Shelby and Stirling Moss.</p>

<p>In April 2011, Aston Martin officially opened the doors to its first dealership in India, bringing the British marque's luxury sports cars to the city of Mumbai with a new dedicated facility in partnership with Performance Cars (a division of Infinity Cars Pvt. Ltd.) In 2012, Aston Martin opened its second exclusive dealership in New Delhi via Select Cars Pvt Ltd. As of 2018, you can grab new Aston Martin cars from 2 exclusive dealerships in the country.</p>

<p>The first set of Aston Martin cars launched in India consisted of the V8 Vantage Coupe and Roadster, V12 Vantage, DB9 Coupe and Volante, DBS Coupe &amp; Volante and the Rapide. The entire range of Aston Martin cars in India consists of the V8 Vantage S, V12 Vantage S, Rapide, Vanquish, Vanquish S and the DB11.</p>
