A facelifted version of the Tucson has been spotted in the global arena. The revised model is expected to flaunt a host of design improvements over the previous generation model. In India, Hyundai currently offers the fourth-generation Tucson SUV.
Several market reports claim that the Tucson SUV is one of the most profitable models for Hyundai across the global market. In India, Hyundai introduced the fourth-generation version of the SUV last year. The four-wheeler has two broad variants – Platinum and Signature and retails between Rs 28.63 lakh and Rs 35.46 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. In a recent development, a set of fresh spy images of the 2024 Tucson SUV has been captured in the Austrian Alps. Although the test mule, was fully concealed, some modifications were visible. According to spy photos, the front fascia will likely undergo massive visual alterations. An upgraded bumper, new headlamps with the DRL trademark, and a new design grille are all expected to be included. The SUV could also get a redesigned taillight cluster and rear bumper. However, the front quarter panel and bonnet, are anticipated to stay the same. Let's take a look at the potential improvements based on the recent spy shots.

As mentioned, the test mule was fully covered, except for alloy wheels. However, a few improvements were noticeable, which comprise a reworked front fascia inspired by the most recent Santa Cruz model. According to spy images, the SUV will likely have a modified front bumper, LED headlamps, fog lamps, and a grille. At the rear, the car will presumably have updated LED tail lamps, a revised tailboard, and a new bumper, among other changes. Inside, little modifications to the dashboard and central console are possible. The SUV might get a new steering wheel upgraded touchscreen infotainment system, etc.
Hyundai Tucson Facelift: Engine
Speaking of the powertrain, this updated SUV might continue to use the existing 1.6-litre petrol and diesel engines in Europe. AWD may be standard on higher trim levels, whereas FWD may be standard on lower versions. The 2.5-litre engine and choices for a hybrid or plug-in hybrid powertrain are available on the Tucson in the US.
