Isuzu has silently launched a refreshed version of the D-Max V-Cross at a starting price of Rs 15.51lakh for the standard trim. The second – top-spec variant of the lifestyle pick-up is priced at Rs 17.03 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai.
Let’s start with the changes on the outside, shall we? At the front, the face-lifted V-Cross now comes with bolder chrome grille which is accompanied by a pair of Bi-LED headlamps. The bumper has also been remoulded and now comes with a vertical chrome strip next to the fog lamps. The pick-up now comes with a new side-step, blacked out B-pillar and roof rails. Adding to the premium appeal, the D-Max V-Cross now also comes with a shark fin antenna. The alloy wheels are now diamond cut and the rear get LED taillamps.
Isuzu has also made a few changes to the interior of the V-Cross. The Z trim now comes with perforated leather seats and a piano black finish for the centre console. The centre console has also been updated and now comes with a gear shift indicator. Taking centre stage on the dash is a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth connectivity.
Powering the D-Max V-Cross is a 2.5-litre 4-cylinder diesel mill that pushes out 134bhp and 320Nm. This motor only comes paired with a 5-speed manual – there is no automatic option on offer. The D-Max V-Cross come with a full-time 4WD, front 2 airbags, EBD, Hill start assist as well as Hill Descent Control.
