New Kia Carnival Teased Ahead of India Launch on October 3, Shows Two Sunroofs, Connected LED Taillamp and More
The facelifted Kia Carnival will most likely get a 2.2-litre diesel engine, along with front and rear dash cameras, a head-up display, ventillated seats, ADAS, and more.
Kia India has just put out a teaser video for the new Carnival MPV, offering us the first details of the upcoming MPV. The updated Kia Carnival, which is scheduled to be launched on October 3, is confirmed to get two sunroofs: one for the front-seat occupants and the other for the second-row passengers. The India-bound MPV seems to feature dual integrated screens – while yet to be confirmed, both the infotainment touchscreen and the digital instrument cluster are expected to be 12.3-inch units. Other noticeable bits include a connected LED taillamp and bumper claddings.
It remains to be seen whether the India-spec Carnival will be offered in multiple seating layouts like the global-spec model, which is available in 7-, 9- and 11-seat configurations. For those planning to buy the new Carnival, select Kia dealerships have started accepting unofficial bookings. The booking amount is set at Rs 1 lakh. The car is expected to be offered initially as a full import, with local assembly to begin later.

Along with this, one can also expect a head-up display, EV9-derived seats, revamped AC controls, a digital rear-view camera, front and rear dash cameras, a digital key, powered front seats, a premium sound system, a wireless charger, multiple airbags, and ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems).
