The SUV continues to witness steady demand, with approximately 7,000 new bookings registered each month. Let’s take a closer look at some of its primary features.

Mahindra is all set to introduce the 5-door iteration of the Thar in India. The SUV has been repeatedly spotted undergoing road tests in the country. Recent spy photos suggest that the new Mahindra Thar 5-door will differ from the previous model in terms of overall width and length.
The new 5-door model will most likely include a massive floating infotainment system with a 10-inch bezel-free screen compatible with wireless Android Auto, Apple Carplay, and other tech features. For reference, the three-door model has a 7-inch touchscreen. Other expected upgrades include a wireless charger, rear AC vents, dual-zone climate control, roof-mounted speakers, a revised front armrest, and cruise control.
The upcoming Mahindra off-roader is expected to cost between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom) and will directly compete with the popular Maruti Suzuki Jimny in India.
