Mahindra XUV300 Facelift Spied in Production-Ready Avatar Ahead of India Launch
The recently spotted test mule of the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift features C-shaped LED DRLs, new headlights, and redesigned taillamps with an LED light bar. Moreover, a new freestanding touchscreen infotainment system and a segment-first panoramic sunroof are also likely on the cards.
The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 facelift is likely to go on sale in India in 2024, however, there is no official communication regarding the same. The automotive manufacturer began testing a facelift in India in May 2023, as a prototype of the Mahindra XUV300 facelift was caught doing testing rounds in Kancheepuram, Tamil Nadu. And now, fresh spy images of the updated SUV have emerged online. As before, the test mule of the new XUV300 is heavily camouflaged, but it suggests that the upcoming SUV from the house of Mahindra is ready to hit the road. A rival to the Tata Punch, the Hyundai Venue, the Kia Sonnet, and others, the XUV300 facelift is likely to be differently styled and will not mimic the current XUV300 on the design front. Based on the latest spy shots, we expect the revamped SUV to sport major changes to the exterior and interior, although the vehicle's heart is going to remain much the same as before.

Mahindra XUV300 Facelift: What do New Spy Shots Reveal?
The XUV300 facelift appears to be in its final stages of testing, as the test mule features C-shaped LED DRLs, new headlights, and redesigned taillamps with an LED light bar. The mid-life facelift for the SUV will also incorporate some tweaks to the bumpers, bonnet, and grille. This informs us that the vehicle is being inspired by three new electric SUV concepts, which were unveiled at the Mahindra Advanced Design Group in the UK in 2022. On the sides, the car is going to remain largely unchanged, with the exception of a new set of alloy wheels and wheel caps. A roof-mounted spoiler with brake lights and a redesigned boot lid are also expected, once the SUV hits the Indian market.
Inside, the Mahindra XUV300 facelift will offer a new freestanding touchscreen infotainment system – likely to be larger in size as opposed to the current version. The AC vents will be placed below the new touchscreen, while the steering wheel will be borrowed from the existing model. New feature additions are also likely, including a segment-first panoramic sunroof.
Mahindra XUV300 Facelift: Mechanical Specs
The face-lifted version of the Mahindra XUV300 is expected to retain the same engine units – a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol, a 1.2-litre T-GDI turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The 1.2-litre turbo-petrol units generate 109bhp and 128bhp, while the diesel unit churns out 115bhp of peak power. On offer with the current Mahindra XUV300 are a 6-speed manual transmission (standard) as well as a 6-speed AMT transmission. However, it is speculated that the AMT could be replaced with a torque converter when the XUV300 Facelift hits the market.
