Maruti Suzuki Ignis Gets Discounts of up to Rs 44,000 in April 2023

It is important to note that these discounts are limited and available only till April 30, 2023. In India, there are four variants of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis, with prices ranging from Rs 5.84 lakh to Rs 8.30 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). Now, going into the details of the said discount offers and benefits, the Ignis is currently available for purchase with cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000, exchange bonuses of up to Rs 15,000, and a corporate offer worth Rs 4,000. Meanwhile, the second phase of the BS6 emissions standards has gone into effect since April 1. With this in mind, all automakers are updating their models, and most recently, Maruti Suzuki rolled out the 2023 version of the RDE-compliant Ignis. 2023 Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Engine, Gearbox, & New Colour Options
The 1.2-litre petrol engine from Maruti Suzuki has been updated and now produces 82bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque. Either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox is linked to the motor. All four variants of the 2023 Ignis cost Rs 27,000 more than the previous model.
Starting with the two new paint schemes, the Ignis is offered in six monotone colours: Turquoise Blue, Lucent Orange, Nexa Blue, Glistening Grey, Silky Silver, and Pearl Artic White. Lucent Orange with a black roof, Nexa Blue with a silver roof, and Nexa Blue with a black roof are the other three dual-tone colours available.
2023 Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Safety Features
The 2023 Ignis comes with a number of new safety features from Maruti Suzuki, including the Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and Hill-Hold Assist. Along with these features, the hatchback is also fitted with twin airbags, ABS, and ISOFIX child seat mounts. The 2023 Ignis includes each of these features as standard equipment. Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha will continue to be the four variants of the Maruti Suzuki hatchback that are offered. A 7-inch infotainment touch screen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls, a start/stop ignition button, automatic climate control, auto ORVMs, and tilt steering are all still available in the updated Ignis.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift, the popular stablemate, the Hyundai i10 Grand, and the most affordable Tata Tiago will be the competition for the 2023 Ignis.

Maruti Suzuki Fronx Launched in India
Maruti Suzuki recently launched the much-awaited Fronx SUV in the country at a starting price of Rs 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom). The Fronx will be offered for sale at Maruti Suzuki's Nexa dealership alongside the Ignis, the Baleno, the Ciaz, the XL6, and the Grand Vitara. The Fronx and the Baleno will be Nexa's volume drivers, according to the company. The brand-new SUV will compete against vehicles like the Tata Nexon, the Hyundai Venue, and the Kia Sonet in India.
