Maruti Suzuki Ignis Radiance Edition Makes Range More Affordable by Rs 35,000, Gets These Changes
The new Radiance edition is available across all trims of the hatchback except the mid-spec Delta variant. Depending on the variant, it adds accessories such as wheel covers, door visors, cushions, and door cladding.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Radiance edition of the Ignis in India, which is available across the Sigma, Zeta, and Alpha trims, excluding the mid-spec Delta. The new version comes with a variety of accessories and a considerable price cut of Rs 35,000. The Radiance edition of the Sigma trim offers accessories worth Rs 3,650, including all-wheel coverings, door visors, and chrome body side moulding. Compared to the standard variant (Rs 5.84 lakh), the Radiance Sigma version is more affordable at Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Coming to the higher-spec versions, the new edition adds accessories valued at Rs 9,500, such as seat covers, cushions, door cladding, and door visors. Besides the cosmetic enhancements, the Radiance edition brings no changes to the powertrain or feature list of the hatchback.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Engine
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis is powered by a single 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 82bhp and 113Nm. It comes with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. Both manual and automatic versions of the hatch have a fuel efficiency of 20.89km/l.
Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Colours and Features
The Ignis is available in six monotone and three dual-tone colour schemes: Lucent Orange, Silky Silver, Turquoise Blue, Glistening Grey, Lucent Orange with a black roof, Nexa Blue with a silver roof, Pearl Arctic White, and Pearl Midnight Black. It comes with a wide range of amenities, including auto AC, a height-adjustable driver seat, a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start/stop, and keyless entry. For safety, it gets two frontal airbags, ABS with EBD, an electronic stability programme (ESP), and rear parking sensors.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis: Competitors
The Maruti Suzuki Ignis competes with the Tata Tiago, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio, and the Maruti Suzuki WagonR in India. It serves as an alternative to micro SUVs like the Hyundai Exter and the Tata Punch.
