Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Xtra Edition Unveiled; Gets Several Cosmetic Enhancements
Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the 'Xtra' limited-edition version of the S-Presso. The S-Presso Xtra features a few cosmetic upgrades over the standard model. The price of the new limited edition is yet to be announced by the carmaker.
Maruti Suzuki has unveiled the all-new S-Presso "Xtra" edition through its social media platforms. To enhance its overall appearance, it has stylistic elements on the outside and inside. The styling kit is compatible with the automaker's official accessories and will be installed by a dealer on the S-Presso "Xtra" versions, much like the Swift's special edition kit accessories.
The 1.0-litre petrol engine from the standard S-Presso, producing 67bhp of power and 90Nm of peak torque together with a five-speed manual transmission and an optional five-speed AMT, are used in the "Xtra" edition. It is because this particular edition is simply a cosmetic upgrade. The same engine powers CNG trims, although they have a lower output of 56bhp and 82.1Nm, and can only be purchased with a five-speed manual transmission.

The moniker "Xtra" looks to refer to the additional features and accessories this specific model is equipped with. A front skid plate, door cladding, and wheel arch cladding are a few of the exterior enhancements. However, the 14-inch steel rims and wheel covers on the hatchback remain the same. Moreover, the car seems to be based on the S-Presso's top variant.
Red inserts have been used to adorn the interiors of this new S-Presso edition, including a semicircular red element that surrounds the instrument panel in the centre, red accents on the door panel, and a set of mats that are only available in the "Xtra" edition. The remainder of the cabin is unaltered.
The top-of-the-line Vxi+ (O) trims serve as the Xtra edition's core, hence, no additional features are included. The car will comprise a digital instrument cluster and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, speed alerts, and a front seatbelt reminder are all included in the list of safety features.

The S-Presso's price ranges from Rs 4.25 lakh to Rs 6.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The 'Xtra' edition with dealer-fitted Maruti extras will almost certainly command a little premium above the model on which it is based. The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso competes with the likes of the Tata Tiago, the Renault Kwid, and the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10.
