New Renault Duster Exterior Images Leaked Ahead of Global Premiere
Market reports suggest that the new-gen Renault Duster will go on sale in the country in 2025 and renew its competition with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and others.
The all-new Renault Duster is scheduled to make its global debut on November 29; however, prior to that, the exterior images of the all-new Renault Duster SUV have been leaked online. According to the leaked images, the new midsize SUV appears larger and sharper than before, and while it continues to maintain the muscular appeal, the 2024 Duster takes styling cues from the Dacia Bigster concept, which debuted in early 2021. The car's design elements include a streamlined bonnet design, Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, chrome inserts on the grille, a revised front bumper with vertical air vents, circular fog lights, squared-off wheel arches, pull-type front door handles, rear door handles located on the C-pillar, new roof rails, and a layered spoiler. Other notable bits are a black shadow line below the rearview mirrors, a tapering rear quarter window panel, new dual-tone alloy wheels, and V-shaped taillamps.

New Renault Duster: Engine, Output
The 2024 Duster will be underpinned by Renault-Nissan's CMF-B modular platform that will spawn the Nissan Juke and the Renault Captur. Overseas, the new Renault Duster will be offered with three engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with 118bhp, a 1.2-litre petrol hybrid with 138bhp, and a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol flex-fuel engine with 168bhp. As far as our market is concerned, strong hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions are on the cards.
New Renault Duster: Safety Features
While the carmaker has yet to reveal the safety features of the SUV, we expect the new vehicle to be armed with six airbags, parking sensors, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Additionally, higher-end models of the SUV might also come with an ADAS functionality.
Although there is no official communication from Renault, market reports suggest that the new-gen Renault Duster will make its entry into India in 2025. Upon launch, the SUV will compete with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
