Tata Nexon.ev Facelift: Battery and Charging Time
Significant modifications to the powertrain are included in the new Tata Nexon EV facelift. The EV claims to offer up to 465-kilometre of range on a single charge thanks to a new Gen 2 motor that is 20 kg lighter than the previous unit. The Long Range variant of the EV produces a maximum torque of 215Nm and a peak power output of 143bhp, while the Medium Range variant delivers 127bhp of maximum power with the same amount of torque. The facelifted model has a 0 to 100km/h acceleration time of 8.9 seconds. City, Eco, and Sport are the three available driving modes.
The EV is said to have grown more aerodynamic, which has resulted in better performance. The Nexon EV Long Range keeps the same 40.5kWh battery pack as the Nexon EV Max, but the claimed range has increased from 437 to 465-kilometre. The battery and motor of the new Nexon EV are backed by an eight-year or 160,000-kilometer warranty from Tata Motors. Another intriguing aspect of the Nexon EV facelift is the inclusion of V2L and V2V technologies, which enable the vehicle to power electrical appliances and even charge other electric vehicles.
