Tata Safari Facelift Waiting Period Extends up to 6 Weeks in India
The new Safari includes a comprehensive update even though it still has the same general design and size as the previous model. In the Indian market, the facelifted Safari competes with the MG Hector Plus, the Mahindra Scorpio N, the Hyundai Alcazar, and the Mahindra XUV700 seven-seater model.
Tata Motors launched the Safari facelift in the country with a starting price of Rs 16.19 lakh. The top-spec variant of the SUV is priced at Rs 25.49 lakh, while the Dark variant starts at Rs 20.69 lakh. All prices, ex-showroom. The waiting period may run from four to six weeks from the day of booking, based on the variant the customers opt for. This time frame could change depending on the location, stock availability, among other factors. Besides this, interested buyers can pick from seven different paint jobs: Lunar Slate, Cosmic Gold, Galactic Sapphire, Oberon Black, Stardust Ash, Stellar Frost, and Supernova Coper. In the domestic market, the facelifted Safari competes with the MG Hector Plus, the Scorpio N, the Hyundai Alcazar, and the Mahindra XUV700 seven-seat model. Tata Safari Facelift: Powertrain Options
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine in the Tata Safari is still mated to a 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The engine develops 350Nm of peak torque and 168bhp of maximum power. It has traction and driving modes as well. The SUV's stated fuel economy with the automatic transmission is 14.50km/l, while with the manual transmission, it is 16.30km/l.
Tata Safari Facelift: Variants
The redesigned Safari is available in ten different variants: Smart (O), Pure (O), Adventure, Adventure+, Adventure+ Dark, Accomplished, Accomplished Dark, Accomplished+ Dark, Adventure+ A, and Accomplished+.
Tata Safari Facelift: Interior and Safety Features
The cabin configuration of the Safari and the Harrier are nearly identical. Similar to the latter, depending on the trim, it has a 10.25- or 12.3-inch touchscreen. Additional features include ventilated first and second-row seats, a new drive selector for automatic variants, a panoramic sunroof, a touch-based panel for the HVAC controls, a 360-degree camera, a rotary knob for the drive selector with a digital display, rear window shades, dual-zone climate control, and more. A 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 10-speaker JBL-tuned sound system are also included.
For both adult and child occupant safety, the new SUV has earned a perfect 5-star Global NCAP rating. Electronic stability control, six airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, ABS with EBD, three-point seat belts with reminders for all occupants, and hill hold control comprise some of the standard features of the Safari. An additional driver knee airbag is offered with the higher-spec models. Also, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is a standard component of the Adventure+ A, Accomplished+, and Accomplished+ Dark versions.

Tata Safari Facelift: Exterior
The new Safari includes a comprehensive update even though it still has the same general design and size as the previous model. The front sports a reworked grille, a connected DRL arrangement, vertically oriented LED headlights, a skid plate, and a redesigned bumper. The side profile is unaltered, save for the addition of new "Safari" badging on the front doors. The design of the front and back is similar. The taillights are now connected, and the rear bumper and boot lip have been modified. Furthermore, the Safari logo on the back has been enlarged. The Accomplished and Dark variants of the SUV have 19-inch alloy wheels, while the Smart and Pure have 18-inch alloy wheels.
