Tata Motors has commenced customer deliveries of the Tata Tiago EV. According to the firm, the electric car accumulated 10,000 orders on the day when its bookings started in India. With 2,000 units delivered in the first batch across 133 locations, Tata Motors further reveals that it has received over 20,000 bookings of the EV to this date. The Tiago EV's cost ranges between Rs 8.49 and Rs 11.79 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The carmaker announced at the time of the electric hatchback's launch that the introductory prices would only be available for the first 10,000 bookings. The entry-level Tiago EV models have a lower battery pack, which gives them an MIDC range of 250 kilometre, whereas the higher trims have a bigger battery pack, which offers them a 315 kilometre MIDC range. Both battery packs can be charged from 10% to 80% in 57 minutes by using a 50kW fast charger.
