The Tata Tiago EV is the current official partner of the IPL 2023. The Tata Nexon, the Harrier, the Altroz, the Safari, and the Punch are some of the Tata models that have served as official partners of the series over the years.
The Tata Tiago EV is the official partner of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL), which started on 31st March. It marks the sixth year of the carmaker's relationship with the BCCI, the Board of Control for Cricket in India. The carmaker has taken a surprising shift by introducing the EV model as an official partner for the IPL 2023 edition. Previously, Tata Motors displayed its lineup of SUVs in the series. Rising awareness of electric vehicles using this medium is the major reason cited by the manufacturer for this move. Tata Motors, the official partner of the IPL, will showcase the Tiago EV in each of the 12 stadiums while also interacting with the public through a variety of events. One such effort is the "100 reasons to go. ev with Tiago.ev" campaign, which aims to identify the biggest obstacles to EV adoption among consumers. The campaign also seeks to highlight the Tiago EV's USPS and dispel common EV myths.
