Tata Tiago Prices Hiked by up to Rs 4,000 in India, Check New Prices Here
Tata Motors announced a price increase earlier this month, effective as of July 17, 2023. As a result, the company recently revised the prices of all the products in its Indian portfolio. The Tiago, the carmaker's entry-level hatchback, has seen its price rise by up to Rs 4,000.
Earlier this month, Tata Motors made an announcement regarding a price increase for its cars, effective from July 17, 2023. Consequently, the firm recently updated the cost of every product in its portfolio in India. The entry-level hatchback in the carmaker's model range, the Tiago, has had its price increased by up to Rs 4,000. As of now, there are five different Tata Tiago variants available: the XE, XT (O), XT, XM, and XZ Plus. All versions of the car are now more expensive by Rs 2,000 – Rs 4,000, except the XE, XT (O), and XE CNG. Furthermore, the Tiago NRG, which is available in two versions (XT and XZ), has seen a similar price adjustment. Following the latest hike, the starting price for the standard Tiago stands at Rs 5.60 lakh. And if you want to get the Tiago NRG, you'll have to shell out Rs 6.70 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. The revised pricing for July 2023 has made the car dearer by 0.27% to 0.56% than before.

Tata Tiago Price Hike: July 2023
The cost of the Tiago 1.2-litre normal petrol model rose by up to Rs 4,000. The XZ Plus manual version of the Tiago 1.2-litre normal petrol experienced the largest price increase, i.e. 0.56%. The ex-showroom prices for the 1.2-litre normal petrol models now range from Rs 5.60 lakh to Rs 7.80 lakh. The cost of the Tiago 1.2-litre normal CNG has increased by up to Rs 4,000 as well. This price increase has affected the Tiago XZ Plus and the XZ Plus Dual Tone manual models. The XZ Plus manual version of the Tiago 1.2-litre standard CNG received a significant price hike of 0.5%. The Tiago hatchback's CNG-manual models still have an introductory ex-showroom pricing of Rs 6.50 lakh, but it goes all the way up to Rs 8.15 lakh.
Tata Tiago: Powertrain Options
The Tiago is offered with three powertrain options: electric, CNG, and petrol. Both petrol and CNG versions are powered by a 1.2-litre normally aspirated petrol engine, which can churn out 84bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque. Either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission is used with this engine. The CNG variant, on the other hand, only comes with a manual gearbox and offers a peak power output of 72bhp and 95Nm of torque. Further, there are two battery packs for the Tiago EV: 19.2kWh and 24kWh. The latter gets a 55kW electric motor and can accelerate from 0 to 60km/h in 5.7 seconds, while the former comes with a 45kW electric motor and needs 6.2 seconds to accelerate from 0 to 60km/h. The larger 24kWh battery pack has a driving range of 315 kilometres compared to the smaller 19.2kWh battery's 250 kilometres.

Tata Tiago Models: Features
The Tata Tiago EV comes equipped with a long list of standard features, such as a multi-mode regeneration system, two drive modes (City & Sport), automatic climate control, projector headlamps, cruise control, electric ORVMs with auto fold, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, an 8-speaker Harman infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ZConnect with 45 connected car features like remote AC on/off, real-time charge status, remote geo-fencing and car location tracking, dynamic charger locator, and remote vehicle health diagnostics.
Some of the standout features of the Tiago NRG CNG's top-spec XZ model are fog lamps, a 7.0-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, a Harman sound system, a cooled glove box, an engine start/stop button, and a height-adjustable driver's seat. For safety, it gets dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and a day/night rearview mirror.
