<p>Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited (TKMPL) was started as a joint venture between the Kirloskar Group and Toyota Motor Corporation in October 1997. It established itself on the Indian automotive landscape in the year 2000. The first ever Toyota car in India was the Qualis, which went on to become a favourite with large, commercial fleet operators and cab aggregators all over the country.</p>

Stupid idea to copy

<p>I find it a really silly idea to simply rebadge Maruti's cars and market it as a Toyota. It only reflects Toyota's inability to come up with their own products. &nbsp;</p>


Very disappointed

<p>It would've been really nice if Toyota launched its own hatchback, instead of using the Baleno. Really unfortunate. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>


Toyota is not capable

<p>With what they have done with this whole alliance thing is absolute rubbish. The car will not have many buyers. Even if it has more buyers, it's only because of extra warranty.&nbsp;</p>
