Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ Variant Launched in India at Rs 21.39 Lakh, Gets Diamond-cut Alloys, Rear Camera
The Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ comes in seven- and eight-seat configurations, priced at Rs 21.39 lakh and Rs 21.44 lakh, respectively. The prices are ex-showroom.
Within a month after it launched a GX (O) variant of the Innova Hycross in India, Toyota has added a new mid-spec GX+ variant to the Innova Crysta MPV's lineup. Like the Innova Hycross GX (O), the Innova Crysta GX+ comes in seven- and eight-seat configurations, priced at Rs 21.39 lakh and Rs 21.44 lakh, respectively. The prices are ex-showroom. Compared to the lower GX variant, the new GX+ variant of the Toyota Innova Crysta offers 14 additional features, such as auto-fold mirrors, a rear camera, a digital video recorder (DVR), diamond-cut alloy wheels, wooden panels, and premium fabric seats. Aside from a rear camera, the safety suite includes SRS airbags, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist control, and ABS (anti-lock braking system). Besides, the GX+ uses a GOA (Global Outstanding Assessment) collision-safety body, a high-strength body structure that absorbs impacts and distributes them evenly during collisions.

Toyota Innova Crysta GX+: Aesthetics
Like other variants in the lineup, the Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ features a sleek and contemporary design. However, it sets itself apart with a silver surround piano black grille and 17-inch diamond-cut alloys. The new variant can be had in five exterior colour options – Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, and Silver Metallic.
Toyota Innova Crysta GX+: Powertrain
Powering the Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ is a 2.4-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The engine churns out 148bhp and 343Nm of peak torque. Two modes are on offer: Eco and Power.
Toyota Innova Crysta: Price, Rivals
Price-wise, the Toyota Innova Crysta ranges from Rs 19.99 lakh to Rs 26.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India). In terms of market competition, the MPV rivals the Mahindra Marazzo, Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Tata Harrier, and Kia Carens, although it has no direct rivals.
