Toyota Innova Hycross Crosses 50,000 Unit Sales Mark in India
The Toyota Innova Hycross is built on the brand's most recent TNGA platform. It is a high-end alternative to the Mahindra Marazzo, the Toyota Innova Crysta, and the Kia Carens.
The Toyota Innova Hycross has surpassed the 50,000-unit sales milestone in India since its launch in November 2022. Apart from comfort, safety, and performance, the carmaker asserts that the model’s remarkable service and warranty benefits contributed to its success. It comes in five core trim levels: GX, VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O), with prices ranging from Rs 19.77 lakh to Rs 30.68 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). With two powertrain options and seven- and eight-seat configurations, the MPV offers a premium alternative to popular vehicles like the Kia Carens and Toyota Innova Crysta. As part of the Toyota-Suzuki collaboration, the Innova Hycross is also rebranded and offered as the Maruti Suzuki Invicto. Here’s all you need to know about the Toyota MPV in detail.

Toyota Innova Hycross: Engine
Beneath the hood, the Toyota Innova Hycross offers two powertrain options. The first is a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with 170bhp and a CVT transmission. Then there's a 2.0-litre gasoline engine mated to a strong hybrid unit with 181bhp and an e-Drive transmission. According to the company, the fuel efficiency figures are 16.13km/l for the petrol model, and 23.24km/l for the hybrid variant.
Toyota Innova Hycross: Features
The Toyota Innova Hycross comes with an extensive array of features, such as wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, a digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and ADAS. Multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and hill start assist are all included in the car's safety net.
Toyota Innova Hycross Flex-Fuel Prototype Showcased at Bharat Mobility Expo
Toyota showed off the prototype of it’s made-in-India Innova Hycross flex-fuel hybrid MPV at the maiden Bharat Mobility Expo this month. The 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine of the Innova Hycross, attached to an electric motor, propels the flex-fuel edition.
The carmaker claims that the Innova Hycross flex-fuel hybrid is BS6 Phase II compatible and can operate on petrol with an ethanol blend that exceeds India's existing 20% limit. At the Bharat Mobility Expo, the Japanese automaker also exhibited the Hilux Emergency Response Truck and Mirai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle (which runs on hydrogen), among others.
