The new-gen Toyota Vellfire MPV has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 1.20 crore (ex-showroom). The opulent MPV is based on the firm's modular TNGA-K platform and is driven by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol-hybrid drivetrain.
The brand-new Vellfire has arrived in India as a Self-charging Strong Hybrid Electric Vehicle (SHEV). Toyota has offered it in our market with a number of upgrades from the prior generation model. Its measurements are 4,995mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,950mm in height, with a 3,000mm wheelbase. The height and length have increased by 50mm and 60mm, respectively, while the wheelbase and width have not changed from the previous edition. The Vellfire still maintains its boxy shape, but it has been updated to appear more streamlined and sharper than the older model.
The front of the vehicle is dominated by the Toyota logo on the massive six-slat grille. The headlight units are positioned neatly within the top two slats of the grille. Moreover, the lower section of the bumper features a sizable U-shaped chrome strip that spans the entire width and links the headlamps on both ends. Bookings for the revamped MPV have commenced in India, and its deliveries will begin around the holiday season. If you are thinking of becoming an owner of this MPV, then let's take a closer look at its features and other specs.
