<p>Toyota Kirloskar Motor Private Limited (TKMPL) was started as a joint venture between the Kirloskar Group and Toyota Motor Corporation in October 1997. It established itself on the Indian automotive landscape in the year 2000. The first ever Toyota car in India was the Qualis, which went on to become a favourite with large, commercial fleet operators and cab aggregators all over the country.</p>

Smooth, refined but not so economical

<p>As I use a driver for my commute, the Yaris seemed like a good option for me based on the reviews. However, when I drive the car on weekends, I realised that the fuel economy is quite low. With best efforts, I managed to get 10km/l. Otherwise, the figure goes as low as 6 km/l!</p>
