2023 Honda Hornet 2.0 Launched in India at Rs 1.39 Lakh
The 2023 Honda Hornet 2.0, which is now OBD2-compliant, was launched by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). The bike carries a price tag of Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). It further comes with a new assist and slipper clutch and updated graphics.
The most recent version of the Hornet 2.0 has been launched by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI). The Naked Streetfighter bike will run on E20 fuel starting in 2023, and it is now OBD2 compliant. The ex-showroom pricing has increased to Rs 1.39 lakh as a result of the latest changes. An assist slipper clutch has been added to the 2023 Hornet 2.0. Notably, multiple sensors are now used by the engine unit to keep tabs on parts that could impact the bike's ability to emit pollutants. A warning light will turn on the instrument panel in the instance of a failure. A first for the sub-200cc bike market, the Hornet 2.0 also features an upside-down (USD) front fork. For the new Hornet 2.0, the bikemaker is also providing a special 10-year warranty package. This contains both a seven-year optional warranty and a three-year standard warranty.

2023 Honda Hornet 2.0: Mechanical Specifications
The 184.40cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder, BS VI OBD2-compliant PGM-FI unit that powers the 2023 Hornet 2.0 churns out 17bhp of maximum power as well as 15.9Nm of peak torque. It is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox for transmission duties. Moreover, the all-new Hornet 2.0 comes with a new assist and slipper clutch that improves rider safety by easing upshifts and controlling rear wheel lock-up on harsh downshifts while decelerating. For the updated product, the automaker boasts a 40km/l fuel economy.
2023 Honda Hornet 2.0: Features and Hardware
Coming to the features, a clock, twin trip meters, a battery voltmeter, a speedometer, an odometer, a tachometer, a gear position indicator, and a service due indicator are among the information displayed on the fully digital liquid crystal instrument panel. Additionally, it has customisable brightness for enhanced visibility during the day or night.
The diamond frame with a USD front fork and a mono shock at the back is still used by the 2023 Hornet 2.0. The motorcycle is outfitted with 110-section front and 140-section rear tyres. The tubeless tyres are mounted on the 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels. A 276mm disc is located up front, while a 220mm disc is placed down back. A single-channel ABS is also on offer.

When it comes to appearance, the new Hornet keeps its muscular form, headlamp assembly, and X-shaped tail lamp, but it also receives new graphics to boost its sportiness. The new Hornet 2.0's extreme aerodynamic style, 10-spoke alloy wheel, aluminum-finished footpegs, short muffler, and sporty split seat are some of its other standout design highlights.
There are four colour options to choose from: Matte Marvel Blue Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matte Axis Grey Metallic, and Matte Sangria Red Metallic.

The Honda Hornet 2.0 rivals several other bikes in the segment, notably its immediate competitor, the TVS Apache RTR 180.
