2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V Launched in India with Feature and Cosmetic Updates at Rs 1.39 Lakh
Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 version of the Xtreme 160R 4V in India for Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). The Hero commuter motorcycle retains the 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine with 16.6bhp and 14.6Nm.
Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2024 version of the Xtreme 160R 4V in India for Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom). Unlike its predecessor, the bike is now available in a single and a high-end Pro variant. It also gets multiple aesthetic and feature updates while keeping the mechanical specs. To begin with, the 160cc commuter motorcycle features a new Kevlar Brown colour scheme that combines black and brown. The Neon Shooting Star and Stealth Black are other existing colour options. The Hero bike also has a panic brake alarm system and dual-channel ABS, among other features. Let's look at some more features of the bike.

2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: What's New?
Except for a new option and some minor modifications, Hero hasn't altered the look of the 160R 4V. The 2024 version is equipped with a lower and flatter pillion seat, now available in a single-seat configuration rather than the previous split design. It also has a brand-new taillight, which is sleeker than before. The bike also features a new speedometer with 30% more brightness. Features-wise, the Hero motorcycle now includes dual-channel ABS. Previously, it was equipped with a single-channel ABS. The bike also gets a panic brake alarm feature that rapidly flashes the rear indicators in a panic braking emergency. In addition, the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V includes a Drag Timer to record 0-60km/h sprints.
2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Engine and Hardware
The same 163.2cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine powers the new Xtreme 160R 4V. This motor generates 16.6bhp and 14.6Nm with a 5-speed transmission. For suspension, the Xtreme 160R 4V features USD forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock. It features a single disc brake at each end and 17-inch alloy wheels with 100/80-R17 (front) and 130/70-R17 (rear) section tyres.

2024 Hero Xtreme 160R 4V: Price
With the modifications, the 2024 Hero Xtreme 160R is now priced at Rs 1.39 lakh (ex-showroom), which is Rs 2,000 more than the previous Premium variant. The Hero Xtreme 160R 4V competes against the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, the Honda SP160, the Yamaha FZS Fi V4, and the Bajaj Pulsar NS160.
