Ather 450S Prices Reduced by up to Rs 25,000 in India, Check New Prices Here
The Ather 450S starts at Rs 1.10 lakh for the base version and goes up to Rs 1.19 lakh for the range-topping Pro Pack. Both prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru.
Ather Energy has revised the prices of the 450S – the entry-level product in its 450 line-up. While the standard variant has received a price cut of Rs 20,000, the top-spec 450S with Pro Pack has seen a price reduction of Rs 25,000. As a result, the Ather 450S now costs Rs 1.10 lakh for the base variant and Rs 1.19 lakh for the range-topping Pro Pack variant. Both prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru.
The Ather 450S is powered by a 2.9kWh battery pack mated to a 7bhp/22Nm motor and has a top speed of 90km/h and a certified range of 115km. The real-world range of the 450S, however, is around 90km. It can accelerate from 0 to 40km/h in 3.9 seconds. Ather says that this electric scooter can be fully charged in a claimed time of over eight and a half hours, using a 350-watt charger offered as standard. Customers can also purchase the more powerful 750-watt charger as an optional extra.

Ather 450S: Styling, Features
The scooter features a sharp front end with an LED headlamp and turn indicators, along with a new 7.0-inch DeepView Display. With the Pro Pack variant, for an additional amount of Rs 20,000, you can also get features like 'Fall Safe' (automatic motor cut-off when a scooter falls), coasting regen (which increases range by up to 7 per cent), tow and theft alerts, multipoint Bluetooth connectivity, and 4 riding modes: SmartEco, Eco, Ride and Sport.
Other features include auto-hold, MapMyIndia-powered turn-by-turn navigation, an emergency stop signal, a revised mud flap, a new switchgear with two new switches, and an enhanced intercity travel planner.
Ather 450S: Suspension, Brakes
The suspension setup of the scooter comprises telescopic front forks and a rear mono-shock. At the same time, the braking hardware includes a single disc with combined and regenerative braking at both ends as standard. The scooter rolls on 12-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 90/90 front and 100/80 rear section tubeless tyres.
Launched alongside the updated 450X, the new Ather 450S has been positioned below the 450X and comes in four different colour options. It goes against the Bajaj Chetak (Rs 1.15 lakh), TVS iQube (Rs 1.23 lakh), and Ola S1 Air (Rs 1.20 lakh). All prices are ex-showroom, Bengaluru.
New Ather 450 Apex
In early January, Ather launched its most powerful product in the country, the 450 Apex, at Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This Ather model is equipped with a 3.7kWh battery pack and an electric motor and makes 9.38bhp, which is 0.80bhp more than the original 450X. The torque output, however, is the same at 26Nm.

The Apex is the only model in the line-up to get an enhanced 'Warp+' ride mode. In this quickest mode, it can accelerate from 0 to 40km/h in 2.9 seconds and has a claimed top speed of 100 km/h.
