Hero Xoom 160: Mechanical Specs
A brand-new, liquid-cooled, 156cc single-cylinder engine will provide power to the Xoom 160. This unit is capable of producing 14bhp of maximum power at 8,000rpm and 13.7Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The i3S technology with an idle stop and silent start feature will be included with the Xoom 160. The scooter's weight stands at 141kg with a full tank of gas. Hero has not yet disclosed when the adventure scooter will go into production. However, it is expected to arrive in various global markets.
Hero Xoom 160: Styling
Hero has departed from its previous design with the Hero Xoom 160, adopting a maxi-scooter aesthetic. The scooter has a split LED headlight arrangement with a tall windscreen and a front end that resembles an adventure bike. Instead of having a flat footwell, maxi-scooters need you to sidestep on either side to position your feet. The scooter has a robust appearance and boasts several accessories.
Hero Xoom 160: Hardware
The Xoom 160 has 14-inch wheels, just like the Xoom 125R, however, they appear broader than the 125R's. Additionally, the scooter has block-pattern tyres in place, indicating that it might be capable of some soft-roading. The automaker is positive that the model will be able to travel farther, as seen by the demo scooter at the EICMA exhibit having a top box. This has dual spring shocks at the back and a standard telescopic fork setup up front for suspension duties.

Hero Xoom 160: Features and Competitors
Keyless ignition, remote seat opening, LED lighting, and smart find—which lets you locate the scooter in a parking spot by just pressing a button on your keyfob—are just a few of the features that the Hero Xoom 160 will have. It is unclear at this time whether or not this scooter will feature phone connectivity and GPS. But given that this will be the company's flagship scooter, it's reasonable to presume that it will have these amenities as well. The Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia SXR 160 are two of the Xoom 160's competitors.
