Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the brand-new XL750 Transalp in our market with an initial ex-showroom starting price of Rs 11 lakh. There will be two paint jobs available for the bike: Matte Ballistic Black and Ross White. As of now, the model is limited to 100 units.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has recently introduced the XL750 Transalp to the Indian market, with an initial starting price of Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom). Undoubtedly, this middle-weight adventure motorcycle from the Japanese auto giant has been highly anticipated since its debut at EICMA last year. Available exclusively for purchase at the company's BigWing dealerships, this premium adventure tourer is arriving in India via the completely built-up (CBU) route.
The Honda XL750 Transalp offers two distinctive paint options: Matte Ballistic Black and Ross White. With a limited production of only 100 units, the model is currently available for order. The first hundred customers can secure their bikes by placing orders in various locations, including Gurugram, Mumbai, Kochi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Indore, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Indore. Deliveries for this brand-new motorcycle are set to commence this month.

Honda XL750 Transalp: Engine Details
The Honda XL750 Transalp is powered by a 755cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine with a 270-degree crankshaft, which puts out 90bhp of peak power at 9,500rpm and 75Nm of maximum torque at 7,250rpm and is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. To improve efficiency, the cylinders are coated with Ni-SiC (Nickel-Silicon Carbide) – the same coating is used in other premium models like the CRF450R and CBR1000RR-R Fireblade.
The XL750 Transalp is equipped with several advanced technological features, including five distinct riding modes: Sport, Standard, Rain, Gravel, and User. These modes allow riders to customise their engine power and braking performance according to their preference. Additionally, the motorcycle features Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) with ABS and an assist slipper clutch.
Honda XL750 Transalp: Feature Suite
The XL750 Transalp comes with a 5.0-inch TFT screen, which shows a speedometer, a tachometer, a gear-position indicator, fuel gauge and consumption information, riding modes, engine statistics, and more as standard. The panel is relatively easy to use. The rider can customise this display to suit their preferences and control it using either the screen or the switchgear located on the left handlebar.
The ADV also comes with the Honda Smartphone Voice Control system (HSVCs), which, when connected to the smartphone, allows riders to manage calls, messages, music, and navigation through voice commands. It additionally includes an automated turn signal cancelling function and an emergency stop signal feature, which flashes hazard lamps to alert oncoming traffic to rapid braking.
Honda XL750 Transalp: Styling Cues
With its aggressive look, the adventure tourer exudes an authentic off-roading flair. A closer inspection reveals its similarity with the very first Transalp, which was introduced in the 1980s. The contemporary iteration, however, has its allure and is expected to receive a resounding reception. The Transalp 750 features a small headlamp and an integrated windscreen to provide the rider with adequate protection on uneven terrains. The bike's golden-coloured spoke wheels, measuring 21 inches up front and 18 inches at the back, are meant to offer riders a seamless riding experience, according to the bikemaker. The wheels are shod with block pattern tyres.

Honda XL750 Transalp: Hardware Components
On the hardware front, this adventure tourer features Showa 43mm SFF-CA upside-down (USD) front forks and a Pro-Link rear shock for comfortable on-road performance and off-road impact absorption. Dual 310mm wave discs with hydraulic 2-piston callipers at the front and a 256 mm single disc with a 1-pot calliper at the back, both equipped with dual-channel ABS as standard, are used for braking.
Honda XL750 Transalp: Market Competitors
In the Indian market, the XL750 Transalp is all set to rival the likes of the BMW F 850 GS and Triumph Tiger 850 Sport. It carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 11 lakh.
