Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R Deliveries Commence in India
The deliveries of the recently launched Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R have begun across India. Priced at Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the bike comes powered by a 399cc inline four-cylinder engine cranking out 39Nm and 78bhp.
Launched on September 11, the deliveries of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R have now begun. In fact, the first two batches of 50 motorcycles (25 units for each slot) have already been sold out. Interested buyers can make their reservations for the next lot at any Kawasaki outlet since the booking window is reportedly open as of now. The deliveries of the third lot are expected to commence in early 2024. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is priced at Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it the most expensive 400cc motorcycle in the Indian market – even dearer than the Versys 650 adventurer tourer that retails at an ex-showroom price of Rs 7.77 lakh. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R is imported as a completely built up-unit (CBU) and is therefore pricey. At its heart is a 399cc inline four-cylinder engine cranking out 39Nm of peak torque at 13,000rpm and 78bhp at 14,500rpm with RAM air intake (75bhp without RAM air assistance). This liquid-cooled engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter.
