New spy images of the anticipated TVS Apache RTR 310 have appeared online just days after it was initially spotted, providing a better understanding of what is to come from the Apache RR 310's naked sibling. The test mule seemed to be in its production-ready form and might arrive in the market in the beginning of 2024. Notably, the same 310cc platform that TVS and BMW jointly developed will serve as the foundation for this new naked version of the well-known sportbike. While BMW Motorrad currently has three motorcycles on the market that utilise the same platform - the G 310 R, the G 310 RR, and the G 310 GS - TVS limited itself to the Apache RR 310. Here is everything we currently know about the motorcycle based on the spy shots of the Apache RTR 310, including what we know about its design and mechanical components.

Next-gen TVS Apache RTR 310 Spotted: Key Details
While doing a road test, the motorcycle's test mule, which was heavily camouflaged, was spotted. The spy photos offer a clearer view of the bike's back end and give new details about it. While TVS removed the fairing from the RR 310 to make it a naked street bike, the forthcoming RTR 310 will have a more simplistic appearance with a sculpted tail section. The RTR 310 will have a split-type brake lamp unit with two vertical LED stacks in place of a single piece tail light. The turn indicators and license plate are both situated on the tyre hugger. The bike's tail portion now sports a sleek and sporty appearance as a result of this.
The bike appears to be fitted with Michelin Road 5 tyres, however we can't be sure given the clarity of the pictures. Aside from that, the test bike's exhaust canister resembles that of the RR 310 and the 310 models made by BMW. Regarding the other findings, the instrument console's partial view indicates that it will have a horizontal touch screen instead of a vertical one like the RR 310. Last but not least, the Apache RTR 310's headlight will have a twin-pod configuration adapted from the RR 310 in a design more in keeping with the other Apache series naked bikes. The same reverse-inclined, liquid-cooled 312.7cc engine from the RR 310 will power the motorcycle.

Next-gen TVS Apache RTR 310: Expected Price and Rivals
According to the spy photographs, we believe the test mule was nearly ready for production, which suggests the unveiling will take place before the end of 2023 and the formal launch will happen in January 2024. We anticipate TVS will release the Apache RTR 310 at around Rs 2.5 lakh (ex-showroom), whereas the current RR 310 retails for Rs 2.72 lakh (ex-showroom). The Apache RTR 310 will face competition from the Honda CB300R, the Keeway K300 N, and the BMW G 310 R in its category, as well as from the KTM 390 Duke and the Triumph Speed 400 due to their relative prices.
