Till August 15 (12 PM), prices for the Ola S1 Air will stand at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). This offer is now extended to all beyond reservers, according to Ola. Bookings for the model are already underway at a token amount of Rs 999.
Ola Electric has announced that the S1 Air has gathered more than 3,000 bookings nationwide. The EV company opened the purchase window for the electric scooter on July 27, 2023. Citing strong demand for its entry-level model, the company has decided to extend the introductory pricing to all beyond reservers. Till August 15 (12 PM), prices for the Ola S1 Air will stand at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom). Prior to this announcement, the S1 Air was available at the said pricing only for those who had already booked their scooters. For the rest, the scooter was to be offered from July 31 onwards at a sticker price of Rs 1.20 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Bookings for the model are already underway at a token amount of Rs 999. Ola says that the deliveries of the scooter will commence in August 2023.

The new S1 Air looks similar to the S1 and the S1 Pro, in terms of design. Alongside a new Neon paint option, five dual-tone body colour schemes are offered with the scooter, including Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, and Liquid Silver. In India, the scooter takes on the likes of the upcoming Ather 450S and the TVS iQube.
Ola S1 Air: Specifications
The entry-level model gets a 3kWh battery pack and a hub-mounted 4.5kW electric motor, which is touted as Ola Hyperdrive Motor. Power and torque figures stand at 11bhp and 58Nm, respectively. Ola claims that the vehicle is capable of reaching a top speed of 90km/h. A sprint from 0 to 60km/h is possible in 9.8 seconds. In terms of mileage, the 3kWh variant has a claimed range of 125 kilometres. The scooter takes about 4.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100 per cent.
Ola S1 Air: Features & Tech
Feature-wise, the Ola S1 Air e-scooter is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen display that runs the latest version of MoveOS 3.0, along with twin projector LED headlights and curvy side panels. In addition, it also offers OTA updates, Bluetooth connectivity, music playback, remote boot lock/unlock, GPS, reverse mode, side stand alert, and other amenities.

Ola S1 Air: Suspension, Braking
In terms of hardware, the electric model is suspended with the help of conventional telescopic front forks and dual rear shock absorbers. Braking duties at both ends are carried out by drum brakes, supported by CBS. On offer are also three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports.
The company's S1 line-up now consists of the Air and the Pro. The top-spec Pro model with a claimed range of 181km costs Rs 1.40 lakh, while the entry-level model retails at Rs 1.10 lakh (as of August 15). Note that the S1 model has now been delisted from the company's official website.
