Ola S1 X with 4kWh Battery Pack Launched in India at Rs 1.10 Lakh, Claims 190Km Range
A total of three variants of the Ola S1 X are available on the market: the Ola S1 X, which is the base model with a 2kWh or 3kWh battery pack; the Ola S1 X with a 4kWh battery; and the Ola S1 X+, which has a 3kWh battery with smart connectivity.
When purchasing an electric vehicle, range anxiety and battery lifespan are the two main factors that most people look at. The recently released Ola S1 X promises to address these problems by providing an eight-year battery pack warranty and an extended range. The new S1 X 4kWh electric scooter model from Ola Electric has been launched, and it boasts a longer range at a more affordable price. A single charge is expected to provide 190-kilometre range for the new S1 X 4kWh. The largest battery pack in the S1 X family of e-scooters, this newly introduced version costs Rs 1.10 lakh, approximately Rs 20,000 more than the 3kWh variant. Notably, the starting price for the Ola S1 X 2kWh trim still stands at Rs 79,999. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
Ola S1 X: Variants and Colour Options

Now, coming to the paint jobs on offer, buyers can choose from a pool of appealing colours including four dual-tone options - Stellar, Red Velocity, Liquid Silver, Midnight, Porcelain White, Funk, and Vogue.
Ola S1 X (4kWh): Power and Performance Figures
The Ola S1 X 4kWh keeps the same internal components as the 3kWh model. The acceleration from 0 to 40km/h takes 3.3 seconds, and the top speed is 90km/h. The electric motor has three riding modes: Eco, Normal, and Sports. Furthermore, it still belts out 8bhp of maximum power.
Ola S1 X: Pricing
At Rs 79,999, the Ola S1 X with a 2kWh battery is currently the Indian EV brand's most reasonably priced electric scooter; the 3kWh variant, with a range of up to 143-kilometre, is priced at Rs 89,999. In a similar vein, the Ola S1 X+, which has a 3kWh battery pack and smart connectivity capabilities, costs Rs 99,999 and has a range of up to 153-kilometre. Finally, the Ola S1 X, featuring a 4kWh battery is the most premium model in the portfolio with a maximum range of 190-kilometre (IDC) and costs Rs 1.10 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Note that the FAME-II Subsidy is included in the above-mentioned costs.
Ola S1 X: Warranty and Delivery Details
With every S1 variant, the firm is providing a complimentary 8-year warranty, or up to 80,000 kilometres, with 100 per cent coverage against malfunctions. Buyers can additionally top up the battery warranty for up to 1.25 lakh kilometres for Rs 12,999. The S1 X series batteries from Ola come with features including increased thermal efficiency, an IP 67 grade for water and dust protection, and the ability to transfer ownership of the battery if one sells their scooter. Nevertheless, the Ola S1 X base model with a 2kWh battery is not covered by the 8-year battery warranty.
For the uninitiated, Ola Electric commenced the deliveries for the S1 X+ electric scooter across India in December last year. Meanwhile, the reservations for the new higher-end 4kWh model are currently being accepted, and deliveries for the same will start in April. The firm further announced that it will increase the number of its service outlets from 400 to 600 and intends to install 10,000 fast chargers by April as well.
