Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally Spotted Undisguised Ahead of EICMA 2024 Debut
The Royal Enfield Himalayan Rally will be equipped with various accessories. Key upgrades include a larger under-belly skid plate, tubeless spoked tires, a radiator guard, and taller handlebars for better off-road performance.
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally Edition, an off-road focused motorcycle, has been spotted at EICMA 2024 just hours before its official debut. This highly anticipated bike has been under rigorous testing in India and around the world for several months. Previously, it was seen in action at the Rally de Cuencas in Spain, piloted by renowned Indian rallyist CS Santosh. While the earlier version was a pre-production model, the latest images reveal the final production version, ready to hit the market. Indian motorcycle enthusiasts can look forward to seeing the Rally Edition at Motoverse 2024 in Goa later this month.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally: What to expect?
The leaked images reveal that the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally comes with several off-road-focused upgrades. These include new handguards, a handlebar brace pad, a rally-specific seat, and prominent rally-style tail cowls. To achieve a cleaner, more focused design, the tail rack and grab rail have been eliminated.

The motorcycle will feature USD forks upfront and a mono-shock absorber at the rear for enhanced suspension performance. Riding on spoked rims, the Himalayan 450 Rally will also sport a distinctive upswept exhaust pipe.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally: Engine
The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Rally will share the same mechanical components as its standard counterpart. It will be powered by a 452cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that delivers 40bhp and 40Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission.

In addition to the Himalayan 450 Rally, Royal Enfield is set to unveil several new models at EICMA 2024, including the all-new Bear 650 Scrambler, the Flying Flea all-electric bike, and potentially the new Classic 650. Official images will be released tomorrow as the week-long event kicks off in Milan, Italy.
