Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 Colour Options Leaked Ahead of India Launch
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be offered in dual-tone colour options. It will be launched in the Indian market on November 7, 2023, with prices expected to range between Rs 2.60 lakh and Rs 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom).
The highly-anticipated Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is back in the spotlight for its recently leaked images giving us our first look at the upcoming bike in each of its 4 dual-tone colour options – Yellow-Black, Grey-Red, Grey-Blue, and Kamet White. You can also see the Yellow-Black version kitted out with golden-coloured spoke rims. What's also revealed in a YouTube video is a fully digital instrument cluster that's split into distinct upper and lower sections. The upper portion features a navigation display, while the lower half features all the ride-related information. However, it is still not confirmed whether this feature will come standard with the new Himalayan, or it will be limited to the top-end versions. With its launch drawing nigh, expect the bike to be priced more than the current Himalayan, which retails at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.16 lakh. The Indian motorcycle manufacturer will reveal the prices in the first week of November 2023. Being the sleek version, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will get a couple of cosmetic upgrades over the existing version.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Design, Features
The design highlights of the bike will include a high-set LED headlamp, a large fuel tank with jerry can holders, a beak fender, a small tail section with a split-style seat setup, and a two-piece grabrail. From what we have seen so far, social media channels and YouTube videos tell us that the 'Himalayan' is prominently displayed on the front mudguard, while the 'Himalayan' graphics adorn the fuel tank, side panel, and rear fender. Expect the bike to roll on a 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wheel.
Apart from this, the upcoming motorcycle will feature all-LED lighting, a TFT instrument console with navigation, an upside-down fork with a fork cover, a side stand cut-off, and a switchable ABS (anti-lock braking system). Optional tubeless tyres are also on the cards, along with a wide range of accessories.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Powertrain, Performance
The Himalayan 452 will come powered by a new 451.65cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Power output is rated at 39.57bhp at 8,000rpm, making it much more powerful than the existing Himalayan. The Royal Enfield Himalayan's 411cc, oil/air-cooled engine makes 24.3bhp at 6,500rpm and 32Nm of peak torque at 4,000-4,500rpm. The torque figure of the 452, on the other hand, is expected to be in the range of 40 to 45Nm, although it is due to be revealed.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Weight Details
Tipping the scales at 196 kilograms (kerb weight), the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is lighter than the existing Himalayan by 3kgs. Considering the fact that the 451.65cc, liquid-cooled motor churns out 40bhp at 8,000rpm, the power-to-weight ratio is expected to be rated at 201.4bhp/tonne, significantly higher than what the current version offers.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Size/Dimensions
As far as size/dimensions are concerned, the bike will have a 1,510mm-long wheelbase, and its length, width, and height will be 2,245mm, 852mm (without handguards), and 1,315mm (without the flyscreen), respectively, making it longer, wider, and taller than the current 411.
Royal Enfield Himalayan 452: Price, Rivals
The Royal Himalayan 452 will be launched in the Indian market on November 7, 2023. The price will likely be around the Rs 2.70 lakh mark (ex-showroom). When launched in India, the Himalayan 452 will lock horns with the Yezdi Adventure, the KTM 390 Adventure, the BMW G 310 GS, and others.
