2023 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Launched in India; Features, Variants, Prices Explained
2023 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz with more than 20 additional safety features has been launched at a starting price of Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). The new Ciaz competes with the likes of the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna, the Volkswagen Virtus, and the Skoda Slavia.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2023 Ciaz with dual-tone colour options in India. The Nexa Ciaz is priced at an introductory price of Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Reportedly, with the new Ciaz, the company aims to further strengthen its position in the premium mid-size sedan segment. The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz dual-tone is based on the top-spec Alpha variant, and it is available in both manual and automatic transmission options. The new mid-size sedan now comes with three dual-tone colour options and those are Pearl Metallic Opulent Red with Black Roof, Pearl Metallic Grandeur Gray with Black Roof, and Dignity Brown with Black Roof. The new Ciaz is on sale across all Nexa dealerships in India.
While it receives no additional updates in terms of technology or comfort features, the new sedan gets over 20 additional safety features. The new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz now offers new ESP (Electronic Stability Program) with Hill Hold Assist as standard. Along with this, dual airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and rear parking sensors have been added to the car.

Dimensionally, the 2023 Ciaz is 4,490mm in length, 1,730mm in width, and 1,480mm in height. Continuing with the same powertrain, the new Maruti Suzuki Ciaz is powered by a 1.5-litre petro engine that comes with mild-hybrid technology. Mated to either 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic transmissions, the engine delivers 103bhp of maximum power at 6000rpm and 138Nm of peak torque at 4400rpm.
As for the pricing, the new Ciaz mid-size sedan is available in two transmission options, with prices starting at Rs.11.14 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Manual variant and Rs 12.34 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Automatic variant. The model's manual variant has a fuel efficiency of 20.65km/l, while the automatic variant has a fuel efficiency of 20.04km/l.
That's not all. The new sedan comes equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car features automatic LED headlights, automated climate control, cruise control, and more.
Aside from three dual-tone colour options, the 2023 Ciaz comes with a choice of seven monotone shades: Nexa Blue, Pearl Metallic Dignity Brown, Pearl Midnight Black, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, and Pearl Arctic White. The Maruti Suzuki's flagship sedan Ciaz takes on the likes of the Honda City, the Hyundai Verna, the Volkswagen Virtus, and the Skoda Slavia.
