2024 Aston Martin Vantage Launched in India at Rs 3.99 Crore; Comes with a 655bhp Twin-turbo V8 Engine
Priced at Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom), the facelifted Aston Martin Vantage comes with a comprehensive update, complete with a revised twin-turbo V8 engine.
Following a global reveal of its facelifted Vantage sports car in February 2024, Aston Martin has launched the model in the Indian market. Priced at Rs 3.99 crore (ex-showroom, excluding customisations), the updated Aston Martin Vantage comes with a comprehensive update, complete with a revised twin-turbo V8 engine. Visually, the sports car stands apart from its predecessor with a revamped front fascia, characterised by a larger grille, new matrix LED headlamps, and a new bumper. In profile, the car sports 21-inch, 5-spoke, satin silver alloy wheels – available as standard – wider wheel arches, frameless door mirrors, and flush door handles. At the rear, the car has a wider bumper, redesigned air vents, and larger tailpipes.
Moreover, Aston Martin offers a range of customisation options and extra equipment for you to spec-up your vehicle. You can choose one of three core livery designs – Pinstripe, Pinstripe and Lipstick, and Pinstripe, Lipstick and Rear infill. The Vantage is available in 21 colour options.
Aston Martin Vantage: Interior
Inside, the facelifted Aston Martin Vantage closely resembles the DB12. Its new cockpit accommodates an in-house, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a new digital instrument cluster, and a freshly designed steering wheel. Other bits include revised switchgear, a Bowers & Wilkins audio system, and a host of physical buttons for climate control, ESP, and other settings.
Aston Martin Vantage: Powertrain, Hardware
Underneath the skin, the new Vantage sports car gets an updated Mercedes-AMG-derived twin-turbo V8 engine. Thanks to the tweaked compression ratios, bigger turbochargers, and other factors, the updated V8 engine makes 655bhp and 800Nm of peak torque – an increase of 152bhp and 115Nm over the figures of the outgoing V8 car. This results in a 0 to 100km/h sprint time of 3.5 seconds (claimed), while the top speed is marked at 325km/h.
Suspension-wise, Aston Martin has equipped the Vantage with new adaptive dampers, allowing it to have 'an immense range of control and speed of response'. Braking hardware consists of steel discs, which come mounted on 21-inch forged alloy wheels wrapped in bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tyres. A set of carbon ceramic disc brakes is optional.
Aston Martin Vantage: Rivals
Upon its arrival in India, the new Aston Martin Vantage will rival the Porsche 911, BMW M8, Mercedes-AMG GT 4-Door, and Ferrari Roma. Aston Martin currently sells the DB12, DBX, and the DBX 707 in India. The facelifted Vantage will be a worthy addition to the company's line-up when it's launched here in India.
