The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire is available in four trims – LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi+ – with prices beginning at Rs 6.79 lakh and reaching up to Rs 10.14 lakh for the highest variant. These introductory prices are valid until December 31. Maruti Suzuki also offers a subscription plan starting at Rs 18,248/month, covering registration, insurance, maintenance, and roadside assistance for added convenience. The sedan continues to provide both petrol and CNG engine options.
On the other hand, the Maruti Suzuki Baleno carries a price tag ranging from Rs 6.66 lakh to Rs 9.84 lakh. It can be had in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants and offers both petrol and CNG options. All prices listed are ex-showroom.

Coming to the dimensions, the new Dzire measures 3,995mm in length, 1,735mm in width, and 1,525mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,450mm and ground clearance of 163mm.
In comparison, the Baleno hatchback has a length of 3,990mm, a width of 1,745mm, and a height of 1,500mm. Furthermore, it boasts a slightly higher ground clearance of 170mm, while the wheelbase stands at 2,520mm.

The 2024 Dzire and Baleno both offer a similar engine lineup but with some differences in performance and transmission options. The compact sedan is driven by a 1.2-litre, Z-Series petrol engine producing around 80bhp and 113Nm of torque. This engine is available with a five-speed manual transmission or a five-speed AMT. There is also a CNG variant on offer, which delivers 69bhp and 102Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed manual gearbox.

Moving to the cabin, the interior of the new Dzire draws inspiration from the latest Swift but includes unique updates. It features a dual-tone dashboard with wood-finish accents. A rear defogger is also included as standard.
