Audi Q8 e-tron, Q8 e-tron Sportback Bookings Commence Ahead of August 18 India Launch
Audi has commenced bookings for the Q8 e-tron and the Q8 Sportback e-tron in India at Rs 5 lakh. Prices for the upcoming luxury EV will be disclosed in our market on August 18, 2023.
Audi, the luxury car manufacturer, has begun accepting pre-orders for the Q8 e-tron and the Q8 Sportback e-tron before their launch in India. Now, potential buyers can reserve the model of their choice by paying a token value worth Rs 5 lakh. The Q8 e-tron is an improved version of the e-tron, the company's first electric SUV, and is accessible in both SUV and Sportback (SUV coupe) body types. The automaker will bring the new model to our market via the CBU route. Soneira Red, Magnet Grey, Siam Beige, Madeira Brown, Chronos Grey, Glacier White, Mythos Black, Plasma Blue, and Manhattan Grey are the nine exterior paint options for the new Audi Q8 e-tron. Further, customers can select one of the three interior hues for the new Q8 e-tron, which are Okapi Brown, Pearl Beige, or Black. Audi Q8 e-tron: Powertrain
A 114kWh battery and two electric motors, one on each axle will power the new Q8 e-tron, and offer a combined 402bhp and 664Nm of final output. The battery setup will enable the Q8 e-tron SUV to drive up to 582 kilometre, and the Sportback up to 600 kilometre. According to the manufacturer, the Q8 e-tron can reach 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds from a complete stop. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in 31 minutes employing 170kW of DC fast charging. Also, the car will get a 22kW AC charger, which claims to fully charge the vehicle in only six hours.
Audi Q8 e-tron: Features
In terms of features, the new Q8 e-tron will have power-adjustable front seats with a memory function, leather upholstery, a 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system, matrix LED headlights, a 360-degree camera, park assist, Audi's Virtual Cockpit Plus, four-zone automatic climate control, an air ionizer, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS).

Audi Q8 e-tron: Price & Market Rivalry
Audi will reveal the new Q8 E-Tron's pricing on August 18. However, market estimates claim that the vehicle will likely command around Rs. 1.06 crore (ex-showroom). The forthcoming luxury EV will face competition from the Jaguar I-Pace after the launch in India.
