Hyundai recently launched the facelifted Alcazar in India, with prices ranging from Rs 14.99 lakh to Rs 21.55 lakh (ex-showroom). The SUV has four variants (Executive, Prestige, Platinum, and Signature) and two 1.5-litre engine options. It has undergone a significant makeover and is now more elegant and premium, with features such as a larger grille, redesigned bumper, dual-tone 18-inch alloy wheels, twin integrated screens, and updated AC vents. Hyundai Alcazar: Powertrain
The 1.5-litre turbo-petrol unit of the Alcazar produces 157.8bhp and 253Nm, with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The 1.5-litre diesel unit, on the other hand, generates 114.4bhp and 250Nm and comes with either a 6MT or a 6AT gearbox. The SUV has three drive modes – sport, comfort, and eco – and three traction control modes – snow, sand, and mud.
Hyundai Alcazar: Features
The Alcazar's interior has a brown and dark blue colour scheme and an array of amenities like automatic climate control, leatherette upholstery, connected tech, wireless charging, a panoramic sunroof, and a Boss mode. The six- and seven-seater versions are still available, however, the former features second-row captain seats and the latter has bench seats.
The SUV also has electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, six airbags, a hill-start assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, a digital key, front parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, and Level 2 ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems).
Hyundai Alcazar: Colours
The Alcazar has multiple exterior colour options, including Atlas White with an Abyss Black roof, Fiery Red, Ranger Khaki, Starry Night, Titan Grey Matte, Robust Emerald Pearl, and Robust Emerald Matte.
