The upgraded version of the Hyundai i20 N Line has been spotted testing on Indian roads for the first time, only a week after the facelifted Hyundai i20 was caught on camera as well. It was joined by standard variants of the tweaked hatchback, with all three wearing a partial black covering to conceal the design changes. When the N Line division was launched in India in 2021, the i20 was the first model to receive it. As far as the powertrain details of this well-liked model are concerned, under the hood, the upcoming i20 N Line facelift is expected to retain the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering 118bhp of maximum power and 172Nm of peak torque. Currently, available transmissions include an iMT and a seven-speed DCT. Images of the facelifted i20 N Line next to the Standard model provide us with a few new details regarding what to anticipate for this version.

Hyundai i20 N Line Facelift: Design Details
The front and rear profiles, where we anticipate most of the modifications to be found, are largely concealed on the Hyundai i20 N Line facelift, as seen in the spy photos. The images, however, show two new sets of wheels: steel wheels with new covers for the less expensive versions and dual-tone alloy wheels for the N-Line. Red brake callipers will also be added to the front of the high-spec version of the car. With the i20 facelift's launch last month, we now have a good sense of what to anticipate from the new vehicle. The updated i20 which was also recently spotted on Indian roads, sports a new grille up front, and a modified bumper with triangular inserts on either end, and the logo has been moved to sit above the grille on the bottom portion of the bonnet. The 2023 iteration has a new silver diffuser and reworked bumper at the back. These updates will probably be applied to the N Line variant as well.
Hyundai i20 N Line Facelift: Features
The dashboard of the facelifted i20 N Line was only shown in one spy photo of its interior, which also featured the same black upholstery with contrast red stitching. In addition to having the same dashcam and touchscreen layout as earlier models, the latter also had paddle shifters and may have had the redesigned 2-spoke steering wheel found on the 6th-generation Verna. The manufacturer could include additional features in the i20 N Line that are anticipated in the revised version of the standard model, such as ventilated front seats and ambient lighting. A 10.25-inch touchscreen, connected car technology, wireless phone charging, and auto temperature control will remain. Up to six airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), and a reversing camera will likely be part of its safety net.
Hyundai i20 N Line Facelift: Engine and Gearbox
As mentioned before, the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that powers the current i20 N Line facelift is probably going to stay in place and continue to produce 118 horsepower and 172 Nm of torque. There are now two types of transmissions available: an iMT and a seven-speed DCT.
