The price of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 has increased by Rs 10,000 in India. The EV is a direct competitor to the Kia EV6 and can accommodate up to 5 people.
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 made its formal entry into the Indian luxury electric vehicle market in January last year. It is the brand's second electric car, followed by the Kona Electric, and competes against the Kia EV6. In a recent development, Hyundai upped the Ioniq 5's price in India by Rs 10,000. As a result, the ex-showroom price for the EV is now Rs 46.05 lakh. Although the exact reason hasn't been disclosed, issues with the supply chain or increasing input costs could be the primary reasons. There is only one fully loaded version of the Ioniq 5 on the market, which can accommodate up to five people. Many amenities are included in the SUV, such as a wireless phone charger, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and more. Hyundai's electric vehicle is built on the Electric-Global Modular Platform, which claims to offer superior cornering performance, improved driving dynamics, and better high-speed stability.
