Isuzu MU-X Facelift Globally Unveiled with 188bhp Turbo Diesel Engine, Sportier Design, ADAS and More
The facelifted Isuzu MU-X SUV is a mid-cycle update over the second-generation version that went on sale globally in 2020.
Isuzu, the Japanese automaker, has unveiled the facelifted MU-X SUV in Thailand. For a mid-cycle facelift, the cosmetic changes are limited to a grille (now larger), LED headlamps (now sharper) and taillamps (full-width) along with modified bumpers at the front and rear. Thailand also gets the top-spec MU-X RS variant, which is a sportier version featuring blacked-out elements including a grille, roof, 20-inch diamond-cut alloys, and fenders. The gloss-black finish can also be seen around the bumper, skid plates, and rear bumper extensions, while the centre caps and RS badging are finished in a contrasting lime green.
The 2024 Isuzu MU-X shares its platform with the D-Max V-Cross, making it one of the most capable SUVs in the segment. If that's not enough, the MU-X facelift also offers an ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) suite with multiple safety systems, depending on the variant selected.

For 2024, an updated 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Accompanying this infotainment unit is a new 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster. The former belts out 148bhp and 360Nm of torque, while the latter makes 188bhp and 450Nm of torque. Power is transmitted to either the rear or all four wheels through a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
